here is a rendering of the darth vader we took as a modeling subject...
we modeled the lowpoly and for the beauty rendering, i tesselated and then meshsmoothed him..put some architechtural max materials on it, and then lit it with a 3 point setup. then placed some reflection walls, for the mirroreffect for the helmet can reflect something..
but the lowpoly also came out quite nice
nevertheless i tweaked some proportions for the finalrender, since the low is a bit off.
